wont connect torrents issue

hi, i wonder if anyone can help, ive been using utorrent for a couple of years now and have never had any issues but i recently tried to put utorrent in my daughters pc, it installed like any other time but when i try to download a torrent i get this C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\hip_hop_mix_june_2009.4956545.TPB.torrent could not be opened, because the associated helper application does not exist. Change the association in your preferences. ive never had this problem before, ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling a couple of times but the same thing happens, has anyone had this problem before?, thanks in advance
