ahirman Posted June 20, 2009 Report Share Posted June 20, 2009 Ok I have a torrent that has 262 seeds 908 peers and iam gettting 25.5kB/s and before i used to get like 400kB/s but not anymore. My usual download speed from a direct download is 400-500 and still is but utorrent refuses to go over 50kB/s. I tried to do a speed guide and everything. ahirman Posted June 20, 2009 Author Report Share Posted June 20, 2009 Ok my measured speeds on www.speedtest.net are Download=4.51 Mbps and Upload=0.49 Mbps. My upload is suffering on the turrent to. Switeck Posted June 21, 2009 Report Share Posted June 21, 2009 Does Process Explorer and/or TCP View show lots of other programs accessing the internet and using lots of bandwidth?Because you should be connected to enough seeds and peers to at least max out your UPLOAD speed max.Your line should be capable of about 50-60 KB/sec upload max in uTorrent -- though setting it above 50 KB/sec will probably cause lower download speeds and lag.2nd link in my signature, 512 kilobit/sec upload settings...is about what you should be using for your line.
