neo316
Hello everyone..my first post on this forum.I have around 10 torrents active at any given time of which 8-9 are seeding and 1-2 downloads. I've noticed that even though I maybe seeding all 10 of them yet the client keeps downloading continuously with a speed of around 1-1.5KB/s.Any ideas why is it behaving this way and how to stop it ?Thanks,
moogly
If these torrents have DHT enabled, it's surely DHT. Active DHT implies small traffic.

neo316
^Thanks for the responses.I hate it when ppl post questions covered in faqs but I did try this one (http://www.utorrent.com/faq/)besides googling before posting here.Another thing is will this additional download occupy disk space, if so how do I recover it? DreadWingKnight
No it won't.
neo316
Great! however the private tracker still counts it as data I have downloaded affecting my share ratio...any thoughts on how I can work around this?
DreadWingKnight
If it does, then the private tracker is bugged, since that transfer is pure protocol overhead.
neo316
Its demonoid, spoke to them on IRC. No luck. That's the way their tracker works.Just curious, will switching to another torrent client help?
tarento
Just ignore the ratio there:1) DHT is required for any half decent functioning of that tracker2) they don't care about ratio3) your 'account' (which you dont need) is tied to your IP, so everyone on your IP is sharing all the same ratio4) their ratio updates (which occur once a day) aren't done right sometimes5) find a better place
DreadWingKnight
No client switching can solve issues with buggy trackers.
