nr062684
I live in Canada and I am wondering how long it takes to receive letters from a copyright agency. As well are these letters usually emailed/mailed or both and from whom. A relative of mine has been downloading torrents. I've told him he's likely got nothing to worry about being a canadian citizen as well the mass majority of the population downloads torrents. I myelf am not too familiar with torrents as well as the legality of this in Canada so any help is greatly appreciated.
DreadWingKnight
http://news.cnet.com/2100-1027_3-5182641.htmlBasically the CRIA and their cronies can't identify you by IP.If you're willing to do some translation: http://www.ledevoir.com/2007/11/08/163562.htmlThe RCMP don't have the time or the resources to investigate noncommercial downloading.
