Command line for exit utorrent ?

i see list option in help, but option like "exit" not found (

I launch and kill utorrent from shedule software.

problem: when i kill process "utorrent", after run utorrent again check torrents

There is no command 'exit'.

You have to close properly uTorrent if you want uT doesn't check each active torrent after it have started.

Anyway uT has functions about 'auto-shutdown'.

No, auto-shutdown not suitable. i shutdown uT by console programm automaticaly

Well that's why uT forces a recheck at each restart, because it hasn't been closed properly.

Your schedule software should exit uT like Windosws does, i.e. waiting few seconds during the shutdown (even if it's not enough in few cases).

There is a way out. Uncheck [Close to tray] option in UTorrent preferences and use "taskkill /im utorrent.exe" from command line. This will result in graceful shutdown of UTorrent.
