Logging download speed every hour

Hey everyone,

I am just wondering if anyone could help me with logging download speed. I am using c# and was told on msdn that the Web API is my best bet if I wish to do this.

The whole goal here is to monitor download speed after allotted time increments, the only problem I have is actually getting the exact download speed of a torrent at a certain time.

If anyone has any questions or other places I should try asking that would be very helpful.
