rolloks Posted July 6, 2009 Report Share Posted July 6, 2009 I am d/l a torrent (310MB) via Bit Torrent (I use utorrent as well) and have been doing so for 3 days and 2 nights it shows from 1 to 2 seeders and the d/l speed varies from 0.1 to 5 kbps, why is it so slow and am I classed as one of the seeders? This is the first time that I have had this problem (I am currently at 30% done) it has been so slow. I am using Vista Home premium. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Switeck Posted July 7, 2009 Report Share Posted July 7, 2009 It could be you've got the wrong settings for uTorrent, your ISP aggressively disrupts/throttles BitTorrent traffic, and/or the peers/seeds on that torrent are just slow/bad.Tried 1st and 2nd links in my signature? rolloks Posted July 7, 2009 Author Report Share Posted July 7, 2009 Thanks, a lot to digest EDIT = I have entered another torrent for d/l via utorrent and that is doing fine at the moment, so I have 2 torrents running at the same time 1 via utorrent and 1 via BitTorrent one steaming along and one almost stopped??
