baz1200
I'm having a strange problem with the latest 1.9 beta utorrent right now. Under settings, I tried to limit my upload speeds to 10kB/sec but that does not seem to work as the program displays that I am uploading at 50kB/sec, I even tried to change the limit to 1kB/sec and that didn't put a dent in the fast upload speed. I have no clue what caused this to happen, and because of this I can't really do anything until my downloads finish.Does anyone else have a similar problem? I really would like to fix this upload limitation problem so that I can turn the limit on the upload when I am browsing the internet.
DreadWingKnight
Do you have an "L:" in your status bar?
Switeck
Are you downloading faster than 100 KB/sec?
baz1200
No, I don't see an L in the status bar. And to the other question, yes I download at more than 100kb/sec, but not from a single torrent, its usually a combined speed.
Switeck
Try setting net.calc_overhead to false and retesting...
D1N0
exactly the same problem overhere. Utorrent is totally clogging my upload, and i can't limit it.
Switeck
Try the same thing...
D1N0
Try the same thing..no effectthe solution seems to be to downgrade from the beta to 1.8.3. When i did that my upload throttle was suddenly increased to the actual upload speed, instead of it stupidly saying 50 when it was actually much higher, and I could throttle it down again. Switeck
I guess they call v1.9 an "alpha" version instead of a beta version for a reason.Oh well, the last v1.8.3 version released is newer than v1.9 alpha.
