uTorrent has stopped working.

Evening guys,

I have been having some trouble with uTorrent since upgrading my system.

Been using uTorrent for years without any fuss. However, now when I download a torrent and click open with uTorrent. I get the following error message:

"uTorrent has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.

Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

uTorrent does actually open and displays the torrents I have downloaded. But the above error appears about 15-20 seconds after. It then forces uTorrent to close and the torrent that i downloaded disappears.

I can get it to work however, if I open uTorrent before I open a torrent file. It works perfectly.

Guessing this is yet another Vista error?

Anyone had the same problem? Tried other BitTorrent clients but they just aint the same.

I am running Vista 64bit. I also read some FAQs which say AVG might cause a problem. I am running AVG Free.

Any help would be appreciated.
