Snauhi
Hello.. I am a long time user of Utorrent and like always i was using it today. During my download my internet crashed. Internet connection restarted shortly after, but now i cannot connect to uTorrent at all.. When i start my download it gives me an amount of possible seeds and peers.. But it cannot connect. Error message is "No incoming" connections.. And this problem is not only uTorrent related.. I cannot connect to Steam or Thuderbird too.. Internet itself works fine, but some programs cannot connect to the servers. Anyone have any idea what might have happened?
reginaldgillette
Internet crashed? Like, it got disconnected for some reason? Are you getting a green check at the bottom of utorrent?...Have ports forwarded?
Switeck
A "clever trick" of some trojans and viruses is to force a system crash so they can fully disable security software on reboot.Even if that's not the case, you probably need to do a SCANDISK of your hard drive/s for possible file system corruption (such as files not closed/being written at the exact moment the system crashed). Also 1st link in my signature, very end of LAST post for how to troubleshoot your computer...HijackThis! and Process Explorer may show what caused that crash and is now preventing Steam or Thuderbird from working.
