DreadWingKnight
The responsibility for vulnerabilities in downloaded content does NOT fall to us.
Switeck
You can download viruses/trojans/malware with Microsoft Internet Explorer as well...as well as just about every other web browser made.BitTorrent/uTorrent program doesn't have their own network. Each torrent swarm is its own isolated network, with only a partial connection to others if it's a public torrent through a DHT network of which BitTorrent.com/utorrent.com is only a VERY tiny part. Be like calling the internet their network just because they use it.
eynstyne
Well, punishing the perps is not utorrent's responsibility. If by punishing you mean coding defense mechanisms (filters) inside utorrent then yes it is.It is the user's responsibility to verify the data being downloaded. Firon
It's your responsibility to verify data you download. It is absolutely no one's fault by your own if you get infested with malware from any source. And we have no network. BitTorrent doesn't have a network. It doesn't work that way.
