jomo1138 Posted July 18, 2009 Report Share Posted July 18, 2009 Someone has messed around with the preferences and I'm trying to get them back to their default settings. I'm not very savvy when it comes to this sort of thing but I'm not sure what's going on. So I read the FAQ and did exactly what it says. After I delete "settings.dat" and "settings.dat.old", I click on uTorrent and the uTorrent setup or install wizard opens up. I click next and so on until I reach the part with "Install." So since I don't have much of a choice in, I click "Install" and nothing happens. So I restored the "settings.dat" and "setting.dat.old" so I can at least still use uTorrent, but that just takes me back to where I started. Can someone please help? Thanks.
