howdthatbe
I generally delete the torrent file from my Downloads folder after I've finished downloading material. I discovered that uTorrent also saves a copy of the torrent in the /applicationdata/utorrent folder. Can these safely be deleted? and Is there a reason uTorrent saves torrent file twice? Thanks! moogly
uT doesn't track the .torrent copy you have saved yourself in your computer.uT saves a copy in %appdata%\utorrent by default (you can set a folder in Preferences > Directories) and works this copy.So it's safe to erase the 1st copy but NOT this 2nd copy in %appdata%\utorrent from a torrent loaded in uT.When you want to delete a torrent job from uT, you have the choice to delete or not this .torrent with data.
