optimus prime
O.k so I have a little laptop I use for my p2p. I have a hard drive dock connected via USB to the laptop for storing all my stuff. Every now and then I forget to turn on my dock before I open up uTorrent and then I am forced to do a recheck on all my torrents in the list, which is around 60 so far. On this lappy I have that will take around two days to complete, it's an old P3 with 256mb ram. Is there another way around this force recheck? Or do I have to put up with it?Thanks. DreadWingKnight
You have to put up with it or learn to turn your dock on first.
Switeck
Next time, backup your settings. If you forget, restore your settings and make sure the dock is on before retrying uTorrent.
optimus prime
Switeck, I'm assuming you mean using Windows back up and system restore? Theres no backup function within uTorrent is there?I really kick myself everytime I do this, it's so frustrating.

optimus prime
Oh yeah I didn't think off backing up from there. Too little too late now to recover from there now though. When its finished rechecking I will do a backup from there for next time
Switeck
I meant back up uTorrent's settings and resume files. The FAQ that nobody seems to read tells how.
