magnumg
Ok so first off I am not a noob I've been using torrents since the original bt client,I use no software firewall and I have correctly opened the ports in my router.this problem only started with the new update.anyway to the problem. I load a torrent and it updates the peer list and all that jazz and finds peers but it takes literally hours and hours to actually connect to any of them once it does it downloads correctly and with my regular speeds. Now it doesnt do this for every torrent but id say at least 80% of them. any point in the right direction of solving this would be awesome as i am not going to rollback to an older version since private tracker frown on old versions and so do I.Thanks
Switeck
Any chance it's bad networking software (firewalls) or hardware (network card or router) on your side?Have you done GOOGLE searches to see if your ISP is disrupting/throttling BitTorrent traffic? Switeck
antivirus / adaware style programs OFTEN have over-aggressive software firewalls that disrupt uTorrent traffic.
