killeraargh
um...I think it's µTorrent that's doing it...but everytime I install and run uTorrent and d/l something...everything in my Windows folder disappears...and I can't access anything...including programs.. I've had to run Ghost twice now...

Falcon4
a) Spyware/Virus Bad hardware or software - you aren't using FAT32 on your drive, are you?But one thing I can guarantee, it's not µTorrent's fault. The fact that you actually use Ghost tells me that you've had a problem like this before...
Firon
I'd like to mention that µTorrent can't do this. You sure your HDD isn't dying? Run a maximum level check with Spinrite, or something.
killeraargh
Falcon > a) possible, but not likely um...my C:/ drive is NTFS, but my D:/ is FAT32Firon > um..how do I fix this? and...I now know that it's not uTorrent~
Firon
Both of your drives should be NTFS, FAT32 sucks. Um, you need to download the app SpinRite, make a boot disk, and run a scan with it, or something.
killeraargh
i would change my D: to NTFS, but it would delete everything in it....do I need a blank floppy? and then I restart the computer and do a scan?
Firon
Converting doesn't delete anything.Start -> Run -> convert d: /FS:NTFSYou can put SpinRite on a floppy or CD (run the program FIRST!). YOu have to reboot though, yeah.
killeraargh
what do I type after the window pops up?and....Don't you have to pay for SpinRite? lol... I think I'll just go use BT's ....nvm
