Jade Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 I'm using uT 1.4 (build 402) and I'm trying to use the "Run this program when the download finishes". But it just doesn't do anything. I've tried absolute and relative paths to the exe, with and without parameters, uT just doesn't do anything after the download completes. /frustratedIs this a bug or am I overlooking something obvious? Please help!
Firon Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 check the logger tab to see what is being executed, then copy and paste that line here
Jade Posted February 5, 2006 Author Report Posted February 5, 2006 Thanks for the reply! I've checked the log & pasted it below (edited the dirname -- original doesn't contain spaces). According to the log, uT is executing rarslave, but it just doesn't do it. No DOS window popping up, no nothing [15:04:54] Error: PF_NOT_FOUND. o=1484783616,S=65536[15:04:54] Error: PF_NOT_FOUND. o=1486880768,S=65536[15:04:54] Error: PF_NOT_FOUND. o=1488977920,S=65536[15:04:54] Error: PF_NOT_FOUND. o=1491075072,S=65536[15:30:38] Moving files from 'G:\Shared\TorrentDirWithRarFiles' to 'G:\Shared\tmp\TorrentDirWithRarFiles'[15:30:39] Executing: C:\Program Files\rarslave\rarslave.exe
Firon Posted February 5, 2006 Report Posted February 5, 2006 Um, don't you need to specify parameters for that to work? And try using quotes
Jade Posted February 5, 2006 Author Report Posted February 5, 2006 All the parameters are in an ini file, so I don't need to give it any. If I manually execute rarslave (without params) it works fine.I've tried quotes already - no difference EDIT: Sorry, I must have mixed sth up in my tests. Quotes actually DO work, so now rarslave is doing the slave work for me. Fantastic! Thanks for the help. However, I think uT should already use quotations marks after the user is picked a program via the dialog box. That would be more intuitive. Also, I'm not sure if it's a bug or a feature: To test, I deleted a file from an old torrent and went through the "Force recheck" -> start -> finish torrent (again). But uT only executes the program the first time the torrent finishes, but never again. I was pulling my hair out over this!
