Registered
How to make my seed ip more appealing to all so i have a constant uploading accross all seed torrents. I know it depends on what node your connected to and more. Just wondering if anyway or setting to increase the activity. Some torrents seeding have peers for some days yet don't connect, and little throughput from other seeders occure. Then there's others that have a good bandwidth yet i'm not in there uploading. Any suggestions, or is it still just play the waiting game ?Oh as a side note i have noticed if drop the connection whole. Then reconnect more often the upload speeds get greater and more seeds become active. Even though the same number of nodes are available. Is it that sometimes the ip becomes stale and ignored. So then it seems needed for connection whole. To be dropped everynow and again, as when seeds become have little activity over long time.
DreadWingKnight
Assuming your client is able to accept incoming peer connections, it is all a waiting game.
Registered
Ok no problem i'll leave it as that, seeds awaiting uploading. Maybe something should be done to improve it, could be why people drop of seeding when they don't see any uploading going on after long periods. Me i have a growing huge list of seeds, near all are no activity, the one or two that are don't take up nowhere the bandwidth available, shame. DreadWingKnight
Do you have the torrents set to stop when you reach the seeding goal?
Registered
I have that set for 100% all at the moment. If i set for infinity would that improve them all ?Should say that nothing is set its blanked out, 100% as normal.LOL i just ticked for all overide the 100% <= and one became active taking half available upload bandwidth, or just coincidence.Coincidence i think as the other seeds remain inactive for upload bandwidth. NO a complete slowdown of the first a second joins, but now only 6kB/s between them, and one stops again oh!.Running commentary, like a race of sorts lol
DreadWingKnight
No, you're better off having a seeding goal of 100% and set the limit when the goal is met to 0 (with the option enabled).
Registered
Ok i have set them back to default again as when started the post topic, two still active low upload speed. It was a coincidence - the waiting game eh!
