Carbone
Hi,in "normal" function, which means no limits given with a lot of active torrents, everything works fine. But a few days ago, i got a member of an anti-leech-tracker. Well, in the beginning everything was fine, but i didn't take care of my ratio, so they kicked me. So far to history. Anyway, they got me a second chance, and now i have to seed, seed, seed - but here comes the problem: I limit the download to 1 KB/s (by the way, why isn't there a pure seeding option?) and start the torrent. First, the upload is limited to my bandwidth (~24 KB/s), but after a few seconds you can watch the speed going down to 0, about one KB per second. Once it reached 0, nothing happens anymore.Of course, there is only one active torrent. I tried other torrents, but it's all the same. I tried the latest beta of utorrent, same result. The only thing that helps is to stop and start the torrent again - then the same procedure repeats. Here is the rest of my data:"Network ok"Network type: DSL (2000/192)OS: XPSP2 with latest updatesRouter: Zyxel Prestige 660HW67 with latest firmware, ZyNOS Firmware-Version: V3.40(SQ.0) | 09/09/2004DSL Firmware-Version:TI AR7 01.01.08.00Firewall:- Router: disabled- internal XP: disabled- Norton Internet Security 2006Portforwarding is correct using port 45045ISP does not shape any traffic (Arcor Germany)Please help!GreetingsCarbone
Firon
throttling the download won't work, because it makes it impossible for the BT protocol data to get through.http://www.utorrent.com/faq.php#How_can_I_make_.C2.B5Torrent_go_into_a_seeding_only_mode_on_all_torrents.3F
