mastermine2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Report Share Posted July 30, 2009 I have a 10 meg internet connection with virgin media and utorrent has been downloading slow i have done a speed test and i am getting full speed like i should, my upload speed is 60 KBps so what i was wondering is in the speed guide bit what should i set utorrent to (currently i have it on 384k which is only 35 KBps upload) what should i have it on to receve the best download speeds thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Switeck Posted July 30, 2009 Report Share Posted July 30, 2009 Try the 512 or 640 kilobit/sec upload settings from 2nd link in my signature.Also try disabling Resolve IPs (Right-click in PEERS window of a torrent) -- that costs bandwidth/speed but does nothing for making your torrent downloads or uploads faster.If you only do private torrents, disable DHT as well.
