First, I'm sorry for creating a new post on a topic that has already received a lot of attention, but I'm afraid I am also experiencing DHT problems after downloading the latest release of utorrent. As far as I know, this is not a firewall issue, and I have temporarily uninstalled all anti-virus software. Below you'll find a highjackthis log - I would much appreciate any advice you can provide. Thanks very much.

Thanks for the quick turn-around. I came across this page earlier today while reading up on the problem and got great speed from the open office torrent I tried. However, this did not kickstart any of the other open torrents. Also, I just tried to locate the dht.dat and dht.dat.old files on my computer, but they don't appear to be listed anywhere...

I double-checked to make sure that the firewall allowed utorrent before posting. I guess I'll try the open office torrents a few more times to see if I can get it bootstrapped. Could this possibly be a port configuration issue? I am trying to connect through a wireless router but was able to do so no problem until just yesterday...

Well, I did install avast antivirus yesterday, which I naturally assumed at first was the source of the problem. And yet, even after performing a full uninstall of avast, I still can't get so much as a single node in utorrent. I'm currently waiting on the open office torrent (under DHT the tracker is "waiting for announce[ment])," but when I tried it earlier today the download took off (even though nothing else changed on the status bar).

Now open office is coming down at a very decent speed. I've also just noticed under the tracker tab for several other torrents that DHT, Local Peer Discovery, and Peer Exchance are "not allowed."
