Casino_tek Posted August 2, 2009 Report Share Posted August 2, 2009 I downloaded Bitorrent as my downloader. I've had it for awhile. It use to work, just not real fast. Now it doesn't seem to want to download anything ? it shows the seeds & Leeches, just will not connect ? I've read on here where I should set my ports on 6881-6999. I've tried this many times with no luck. I have a DSL modem, goes into a D-Link router (DL-524). NEED help.. If there's anyone out there to help, I would greatly appreciate it. Switeck Posted August 3, 2009 Report Share Posted August 3, 2009 DON'T use a 6881-6999 port number for uTorrent's incoming listening port! (Those ports are most likely blocked by MANY ISPs.)Try the 1st link in my signature, slow speed/interrupted internet part....And do the 1st link of my signature where it says: "INFORMATION WE MIGHT NEED IF NOTHING ELSE HELPS", if that didn't help.
