ScubaMT
I thought, instead of wasting my time telling myself I know what I am doing I would rather ask the people who know instead of figuring it out myself. I'm a complete noob when it comes to torrents and torrent clients, so your help would be appreciated. ANYWAYS!OS: Windows VistaTorrent Client: Utorrent Ver. 1.8.3Router: Linksys BEFSR41 V4.3ISP: Time Warner CableSpeedtest Results: http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ Download Speed: 14937 kbps (1867.1 KB/sec transfer rate)Upload Speed: 1945 kbps (243.1 KB/sec transfer rate)When I was figuring it out myself I got this error when I tested if the port was forwarded properly:http://www.utorrent.com/testport?port=20823If you all need more information to guide me to the right path please ask me of it, just tell me what speed setting is best for me and how to figure out what port to use. GTHK
What make/model modem are they giving you? Setup guide is at http://www.utorrent.com/setup_guide.php
Switeck
Your Speedtest link doesn't work. But you posted these speeds:Download Speed: 14937 kbps (1867.1 KB/sec transfer rate)Upload Speed: 1945 kbps (243.1 KB/sec transfer rate)Is that supposed to be 15 megabit/sec down and 2 megabit/sec up TWC speed tier?Or does TWC have a temporary burst speed which means Speedtest gets a faster result than you can ever use in uTorrent?Router: Linksys BEFSR41 V4.3...Means you're pretty much screwed on settings. That router WON'T handle 100+ connections at once nicely...and probably won't like UPnP, NAT-PMP, DHT, Resolve IPs, uTP, or IPv6 either!
