bratha
Hi all,I have been using utorrent for some time and it has been fantastic. Quite recently however, it has only ever been downloading two files at a time. I haven't changed any settings, and it used to happily sit and download 5-6 or more files at once, but now it does only 2 at a time, and won't start the next item in the queue until the first two have finished. The status of the files are all still "downloading"... but they are not progressing at all?Any ideas of how I can fix this? Thanks,Andrew
GTHK
Controlled by CTRL+P > Queueing. These settings should be set according to the setup and troubleshooting guides on this site, based on your upload speed.
bratha
Thanks for the feedback. My active number of downloads though is set to 10. My active Uploads/downloads is at 25. At the moment though, under the "active" downloads there is only 4... two downloads, and two uploads?
Switeck
There's other settings in uTorrent that can affect how many active downloading torrents you have at a time....So what uTorrent settings are you using?(All the settings shown by Speed Guide CTRL+G AND any advanced settings you've changed from default.) Belial9
I had the same problem with only two downloads going at a time even though the settings in the Queueing section were way above. This has happened to me twice now, and both times on attempting an upgrade! Thankfully though, I've managed to pin down why this happens, and also how to fix it! Basically, it seems to be that on the upgrade, the speeds revert back to the default settings. I can confirm that switeck's advice of using CTRL+G to amend the connection speed to the correct speed immediately fixed the issue for me! So anyone else having the same problem, then definately try that as your first point of call! Everything is working great now!! Many huge thanks to Switeck for pointing me in the right direction! (and also for the tip on the CTRL+G hotkey to get there! That was marvellous!!)
