luminesque420
i have 2 computers. 1 pc 1 laptop. they are both considerably fast. the PC runs windows xp and the laptop runs vista home premium. my PC is amazing when it comes to downloading torrents. everything downloads fast and smoothly and i dont even have any ports forwarded. now my laptop used to download torrents but now its just a nightmare. first of all, when utorrent is open, any internet related programs wont run. i cant acces firefox or internet explorer or anything! on top of that, none of my torrents download at a speed greater then 0.01 kb/s ive tried everything i can possible think of. forwarding ports still leaves the "no incoming connection" thing still on so thats not working. ive disabled every firewall i can possible think of. the settings of utorrent on my PC are the same as on my lap top so i dont understand why utorrent isnt working im about to just give up on utorrent all together. please somebody help me
Switeck
If you're behind an office LAN, apartment shared line, or wireless/satellite connection, you're probably permanently firewalled in uTorrent. But if not...These web links might help you with software firewalls and port forwarding:1. http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=21682. http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=78623. http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htmMany ADSL modems *ALSO* need to be configured. Check portforward.com for your modem model! Also do the 1st link in my signature, slow speed/interrupted internet part....And do the 1st link of my signature where it says: "INFORMATION WE MIGHT NEED IF NOTHING ELSE HELPS", if that didn't help. Switeck
You're almost certainly double NATed (2 router problem) -- by the modem and the router.Did portforward.com not list both devices?
