When I checked with the Utorrent Port Checker it said the port was properly forwarded. The other day I used the port checker again and this time it said the same port "does not appear to be open" ??? I checked the settings in my router and they were the same as before. What could've happened ?Also, when I connect wirelessly with my laptop, do I need to forward the port or does that only apply to my desktop ?Thanks - Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Switeck Posted August 6, 2009 Report Share Posted August 6, 2009 Yes, you need to port forward when you connect with your laptop wirelessly. UPnP *MAY* auto port forward for you, so check that first.Networking overloads can mimic firewalled conditions. Try the 1st link in my signature, slow speed/interrupted internet section.
