igotquestion
I'm currently using Windows 7 RTM Ultimate 64-bit.Should I allow the two uTorrent protocols listed in the windows firewall to access private and public networks or just private networks? If I only allow an application to access the private network does that mean it cannot access the internet (e.g. for updates)? GTHK
I'm not intimately familiar with the Windows 7 firewall, so I'll say this. µT uses TCP and UDP. If the public/private network thing borrows from Vista then private network would only let it work on networks marked as private (networks marked public result in your computer being more firewalled), either that or it refers to LAN vs. Internet ranges... look it up

igotquestion
if i select private does that mean uTorrent is restricted to computers on the LAN?
