SaMmM_12345
Hello,My torrents can't seem to upload or download much at all. Max 10kbps down, max 2kbps up.This all started 3 days ago. Before that my torrents were all working fine and they usually download at a minimum of 50kbps and upload at about 60kbps.I tried many good seeded different torrents i got off from different sites, still they are all not good. This are the things i tried:1. Made sure windows firewall was disabled2. forward port in router's firewall (2wire router)3. disable anti-virus (antivir)4. mess around with many settings in utorrent and in the firewalls5. Enable/force/disable encryption6. experimented with different values in max_halfopen in utorrent and for windows.7. reinstalled/uninstalled/disable/enable commodo firewallHowever it still does not work.I also noticed that when i test the port using the port checker on this website, i noticed these things happening:1. When utorrent is not downloading anything, the port checker result tells me that the ports appears to be open.2. When utorrent is downloading something at 10kpbs, 50% of the time when i use the port checker it said the port is closed.I find that quite weird, and i am suspecting that it has something to do with the problem i am facing. My comp information:windows xp sp2 (windows update turned off)avira antivir free personal editionI will really appreciate it if anybody can help me.Thank you. Switeck
Hostile ISP?
SaMmM_12345
I had this problem once before. The last time, I reformatted my comp just to get it working again.I don't think its the ISP.I'm suspecting its comodo firewall, but i already uninstalled it.Is it possible that it altered my network settings and stuffs even if i uninstalled it? Switeck
If you uninstalled Comodo firewall and you're posting here ok, Comodo probably didn't leave any problems behind. Can you test on another computer on the same line?
