nugepcua
Hello,With the help of ipfilter I would like to accept connections with my country`s IP ranges only. I have the list in xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy format. However utorrent understands it as to block ONLY. How can I convert my list to "outside ranges" or make utorrent understand it as to ALLOW?If it has been discussed already, please copy a link to a thread.Thank you. Switeck
You have to do that manually...10.0.0.5-11.1.1.1112.1.2.3-14.4.5.6would convert to:0.0.0.0-10.0.0.411.1.1.12-12.1.2.214.4.5.7-?
nugepcua
Yeah, I understand conversion principle, however doing that manually will take ages. I hope there are wiser solutions.
Switeck
There's probably a free ALLOW-to-BLOCK converter program on the internet...somewhere.
nugepcua
Another question to anyone involved in development:My ipfilter now has 100.000 entries. Does ipfilter size have any significant influence on peer processing speed - meaning to check all available and to filter acceptable ones?
Switeck
At that size, probably a little...cpu usage for uTorrent is probably increased from 5% to 20%.
