damned317
Under logger in utorrent it now says TCP port bind failed 216.248.104.176:18675(10049) The requested address is not valid in its context. Below that it says the same for UDP. Is that number supposed to be my IP address? If so how do I change it to the correct address?
DreadWingKnight
Reset net.bind_ip and net.outgoing_ip in advanced preferences. You aren't supposed to be setting them.
damned317
Do I set the net.bind_ip to my computers ip address? The net.outgoing_ip is blank. What do I set it to? I have never tinkered with these numbers before. This must be related to my ISP giving me a new IP address or something. Thanks for your help. DreadWingKnight
No, you reset them both to default and LEAVE THEM.
damned317
I reset them both and they are now blank. I have no status indicator at the bottom of utorrent although speed checker now says the port is open and accepting incoming connections. Are they supposed to be blank and if not what are the default numbers?

damned317
Why is there no status indicator at the bottom of utorrent? Nothing is downloading or uploading, all my torrents are just dead.
DreadWingKnight
Have you restarted uTorrent since resetting the settings?
damned317
I just restarted and I had the green indicator for a minute or so then it switched to the yellow triangle and now it is stuck with no indicator again. No seeds, no peers although port is still open.
DreadWingKnight
And what color icon do you have for the individual torrent jobs you have loaded?
damned317
All of my torrents are red, uploads and downloads. Also at the bottom in logger it says IPv6 is installed and below that it says Got Teredo Address: 2001:0:4137:9e50:24f2:35e6:2f81:4150. Is this normal? GTHK
It's normal. Go to the trackers tab, single-click one torrent, what are the errors?
damned317
Tracker says connection closed, DHT is waiting for answer, local peer discovery and peer exchange say working, one tracker says invalid URL. This thing has been messed up since upgraded to 1.8.4. I have followed all of Ultima's troubleshooting steps and still nothing.

damned317
I am using windows firewall and it says I am allowing utorrent, utorrent tcp-in, utorrent udp-in, and also BITS peercaching.
DreadWingKnight
Remove the utorrent rules and let them re-create.
