steweo
For utorrent 1.8.3 should it be enabled or disabled? Sorry for sounding so elementary, but I am!
Ultima
There is no absolute answer -- it's different from circumstance to circumstance. If your router and connection happen to be able to handle all the UDP packets generated by DHT, then there isn't too much reason not to leave it enabled. On the other hand, many users do have shoddy network hardware/connections, so leaving it disabled is advantageous to them if they actually want to be able to use their Internet connection reliably for other applications.
