antd Posted August 22, 2009 Report Share Posted August 22, 2009 1.8.4 latest webuiI've been using webui for months without any troubles. All of a sudden I cannot connect to my server's webui. I've tried changing the port but to no avail.It works on localhost though. (ie, I can connect to webui if I tunnel through my server, or use a web browser on my server)When I try and connect remotely:It comes up with the username+password prompt maybe 50% of the time. Then I can see the GUI. However, the status icon on firefox shows that the page never fully loads (the spinning icon never stops spinning). And the status bar forever says "transferring data from [server IP]" - It does not usually do this.So yeah, it is sometimes connecting (but not fully)hope you can find out what causes this! please close thread. This was caused by a httpd config issue in Apachemaybe a mod should add to an FAQ that bad httpd config (Apache) in linux systems can cause odd behavior in webui!
