foxtrot01
I am running utorrent through a SSH tunnel via the SOCKS5 proxy setting. My problem is that when I connect to a private tracker via the SOCKS proxy, the little orange icon tells me I am unconnectable. DHT, local peer discovery, and peer exchange are not permitted on this tracker. Is there anything I can do to make utorrent connectable in this situation? Thanks! GTHK
Do you have control over the SSH server? If you can make the server portforward for you, it should work.
foxtrot01
Using Bitvise Tunnelier, I am running a Server to Client tunnel on port 12221, and getting utorrent to use that as the port for incoming connections. But when I use utorrents test port forwarding feature, it says the port is blocked. Is there any way to independently test if the server port is actually being forwarded to my local machine?
