Not Starting Download...

Hi,,,

I have hd utorrent on a vista computer for a while now and have been downloading fine... but i came to put it on an XP machine, and it working fine, untill i have downloaded a torrent,opened it with utorrrent buttt it wont even look to see how many peers/seeds it has..

Any help... cheers.

Edit: it has been like that all night last night and all this morning, (i dint turn comp off)

The problem may originate from the trackers. Go to the trackers tab & see if the trackers are working properly.

Yes, it looks like the trackers are not working. Without trackers, you can't get connected to anyone who you can download from.

EDIT Now you can only wait for the tracker to start working again or see if the DHT reports anyone. But if the DHT did not report anyone for this long, it looks like the torrent is not very popular. Try a new torrent, if possible.

No torrent will work, can you send a link to the known to be fast torrents cuz i cant find anywhere..

No the tracker on that erroring the same, it could not be done as the target machine activley refused connection.

Remove and re-create any exceptions you have for uTorrent in norton.

Nope that not working, i did that, dint work, reinstalled utorrent, still dint work.

Well, you're on one of the notoriously anti-p2p ISPs, so there's not much that can be done if our control torrents don't work for you.
