Maybe because the file is already exist(but with different size and content)? Ultima Posted September 1, 2009 Report Share Posted September 1, 2009 You misunderstand the point behind the partfile. The partfile isn't to prevent files from being written to. The partfile is to prevent files from being allocated. If the file already exists, then it already has been allocated, so the partfile's jurisdiction will have ended. This isn't a bug.
