aldrinjhet26lhi
my drive c is frozen, drive c has the folder %appdate%\utorrent, so when i try to download at drive d (which is not frozen) and restart my pc the files didn't resume to its download state because of that utorrent settings.dat and resume.dat, is there anyway that i can move the settings.dat and resume.dat to my drive d? so that i can resume my downloads that i've been downloaded? moogly
And why is your drive C freezing? Is it relative to uT?NB: yes you can use drive D with uT as standalone (see uT help file).
aldrinjhet26lhi
yes my drive c is frozen but it has nothing to do with utorrent, c is frozen because i use deep freeze but other drive is not.. so i don't want utorrent to be installed in drive c.. but its app folder is in C, how can i move the app folder to the other drive? is it possible thanks
moogly
You have to edit resume.dat to change the drive letter and surely the main path of your download folder. So uT will resume your torrents.Close uT.Use freeware BEncode Editor (http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=31306).Open resume.dat and use the function 'find/replace' to change the path. Save it.Restart uT as standalone (see FAQ or help file) on your drive D.NB: make a backup copy of resume.dat before editing it!Maybe you probably should edit settings.dat to change path in Preferences > Directories. Try it and see what happens (edit it if some errors appear).
