My share ratio is at 245.576...Is that good enough?

That means nothing. The global ratio is purely informative, just ckeck the ratio per torrent, especially if you do torrenting on private trackers with a ratio system.

In theory sharing to ratio 1:1 is recommended but on popular torrents with hundreds of peers, you may reach only to 0.5 or 0.7.

I am such a noob, that i have no Idea what you mean by global ratio in comparison to the data in the general tab.

I belong to no groups so I wouldn't know about private trackers.

I got a lot of reading to do, I guess.
