DreadWingKnight
Leave it alone. Its usefulness with an increased setting is nonexistent beyond the first 90 seconds of a torrent being started.
Buggypscote
I was having connection problems with the webui so I increased to 50 as stated in this post.http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=47354Lowered to 15 as I was getting SYN floods on the utorrent port which seemed to be around the same time the webui became unconnectable. At 15 half open connections I still have the problem of not being able to connect to the webui. DreadWingKnight
You probably have other issues given that each file AND each peer connection count towards the same connection limit (ulimit -n) in linux.
Buggypscote
Im using 8192 ulimit-n should I increase that as im still getting webui timeouts?
DreadWingKnight
What sort of peer connection limits are you using? How many files are in the torrents you're running at once?
Buggypscote
Global maximum number of connections - 80030 Torrents 1-27 files in each.
