Error: The parameter is incorrect

I am currently trying to download some stuff and i go to start it and it says the parameter is incorrect and stops. i am running xp and upgraded to 1.8.4.

It was working before but now it is bringing up this error. I have also tried other torrents and it brings up the same error.
