Jomapil
Hello, friends.A good week end for everyone.I'm downloading a new torrent ( 12 hours old ) and I have at this time Seeds=336 and Peers= 4190.With these parameters I have a download speed~~40 Mbps. At these conditions I usually have 100, 200 300 or even 400 Mbps.I performed the test and I have the port well forwarded. Why this actual value? Thanks and cheers. Ultima
Because BitTorrent does not make any guarantees about download speeds.
Switeck
What units do you mean when you say "40 Mbps"?
Jomapil
Excuse me Switeck. I made a mistake. All the units are kB/s.At this very moment that download has Seeds = 7 (615) and Peers = 76 (6767). And the Speed = 30 kB/s.Why this speed with so many seeds and peers and the port well forward?A good day and thanks.
DreadWingKnight
Are you meaning *bit/sec or *byte/sec?
Jomapil
I mean Bytes per sec, DreadWingKnight. The unit that shows at the Torrent Window.Even so, I'd hope a greater speed.Cheers.

Jomapil
Download = 6715 kbps (bits per sec) Upload = 608 kbpsMy ADSL contracted speed is 24 Mbps but usually it is 11 or 12 Mbps.
