w32sobig
hey, I have 100mbit connection and recently got this kind of a problemsome forums says that it has something to do with bt.transp_disposition settings in advanced menu(due to uTP traffic beign recognized as spam/harmful).I'm using latest stable (1.8.4 build 16442) version of utorrent and i'm connected directly to the cable without any modem or router. I also use Windows 7 x64 OS. I think problem goes away if I downgrade to 1.8.2 but many of the trackers I use don't support it. Please Help! Switeck
uTP isn't spam/harmful...it just has difficulties managing+maintaining speeds on VERY fast lines with (highly?) variable latency. In v1.8.3 and later, set bt.transp_disposition to 5 to disable uTP. w32sobig
I tried that settings and that screen even made with those settings, can it be anything else?
Switeck
Do you see any IPv6 addresses? Are the connected peers disconnecting from you rapidly...then reconnecting, getting to high upload speeds (to them), then disconnecting again...and repeating every minute or so? w32sobig
IPv6 is enabled for my Internet connection, and on that screen it was only 1 peer downloading and it wasn't disconnecting completely just speed went up and down
Switeck
If you're only uploading to a single peer...that lone peer could be bottlenecked randomly for reasons you cannot see.
w32sobig
but it happened not just that time, it's always that way
Switeck
Private trackers OFTEN create such conditions...everyone's fighting over very limited peers.http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/User:The8472/Private_trackersTo reach 4 MB/sec upload speed, you'd probably need to be connected to quite a few fast peers. If they're not fast, you'd potentially need 40+.
