Triple_8
Hello, I have been using uTorrent a long time now. But starting almost half a year ago after uTorrent upgrade to some version the dialog started to reappear every time after reboot. I was trying to not emphasize myself on this, but I got really tired of it. As I see at the moment there is no solution for this? Please help, it is very annoying, especially it not always shows over the opened windows. As i see, I am not the only one, who is suffering from this. I am using version 1.8.3 at the moment. Ultima
Can you enable auto-updating in µTorrent to see if the problem persists?
Triple_8
Put a check mark for the "Check for updates automatically". Rebooting.UPD. It seems, that this works. Can you please state if this bug will be changed in future, or will be left as not significant?
Ultima
I don't believe it's a bug -- for some reason or another, the dialog was somehow designed to be tied to auto-updating. I can't fathom the reason why, but it just is. But that's pretty much inconsequential at this point, as there are (supposedly) plans to remove the dialog entirely.
