Naths0409
Hi, new to all this, i'm running Utorrent 1.8.3 and was wondering if on this version or other versions there is an easy way to set the upload rate to be always less than the download rate as the internet plan i am on bills me for either upload/download depending on which is higher. Therefore i'm happy to upload at high speed as long as its lower than my downloads as it costs me no extra, but on the other hand if i leave utorrent overnight to download a file and it finishes well before the download time in my scheduler i pay for the continued uploads and therefore i'm not likely to set a high upload limit. Does anyone know an easy way around this?
DreadWingKnight
It's not actually possible to hard-enforce such a limit.Configuring uTorrent according to our setup guides (NOT ones from youtube) will get you as close to ideal as possible. Switeck
You could try using Scheduler to reduce upload speeds sometime in the night...and then stopping torrents altogether after a couple hours.
