descention
I am wondering if this capability exists in any third-party application:Managing several uTorrent-running PC's from a single location. I am interested in adding/removing torrents from about 10-20 computers simultaneously. If this does not exist, I will look into the web API/UI and attempt making my own (until I get bored trying).I looked around in the Web API board and did a few searches in here and google with no relative results.-Desc
Ultima
http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=58253You can create multiple profiles in µTorrent Adder (one for each machine), then call"uTorrent Adder.exe" "[PATH TO .torrent FILE]" -profile="[PROFILE NAME]"once for each profile you wish to send to. descention
I checked out that program and it does seem useful, but it does not contain features that I would like to have. I am currently (started after looking at that app) working on a c# project using the web client API library from tombull (link below). It will use tabs for viewing each computer if desired but most functionality (adding machines, viewing total throughput, adding/removing torrents, starting/stopping all torrenting) on the first tab. It's a work in progress and we'll see how far I get before giving up.tombull's thread: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=50687
