Get bittorrent to stop using my harddrive

Here's what I want: I want to go into my resource monitor and see 0 Hard Faults while running bittorrent just like I do when not running bittorrent.

I've tried changing the download location for files to a flash drive that I have, but according to the resource manager Bittorrent is accessing my C: drive in order to access my flash drive...

I am not sure this is even a problem on the bittorrent side, maybe it's windows.

I'm running Windows Vista Premium Home 64-bit
