ok ive been downloading torrents for the better part of 4-5 years now and have never run into this problem before on monday i recently got my connection upgraded 6 meg download and 1 meg upload and everything was working great until like last night... i started downloading a torrent got about 600 kbps for about 15-20 minutes....then my internet drops...so i reset my router then about 1-2 min later it happens again and has done this all night....now i downloaded a torrent earlier yesterday and achieved full speeds upload and download and didnt lose my connection one time....now i have tried download numerous versions of the same torrent and i still get the same issue....i have done all of the settings changes as stated by switek i even throttled my bandwith to what it was before i upgraded and i still get the same issue....ive even downloaded azureus and still the same problem....im using windows vista sp2 and a modem/router provided by my ISP Atlantic Telephone Membership Corp...like i said ive never run into this problem before until last night and ive changed my settings through u torrent to bare minimum even lower than switek

So what settings precisely did you try?

Lower than my 5 megabit/sec upload settings isn't really saying much.

Did you also try the 1st link in my signature?
