Color blindness can be pain

Hello all,

I am red/green colorblind (supposedly the most common type of colorblindness), and I have an annoying problem with the status icons. I normally have a lot of torrents seeding at all times and normally have the green box with the white "up" arrow that indicates that the data is being uploaded correctly. But, if there is an error the icon will change to the exact same image but with a red color. Since I am color blind these look exactly the same. I have to click through each one individually to check the status. Honestly this is a minor feature and gripe compared to many other pressing problems but I think it seems like it would be a somewhat easy fix. I have two suggestions:

1. Change one of the colors to something besides red or green.

2. Simply change one of the icons so it doesn't look exactly the same as the other one. Turn the arrow, or change the arrow thickness or height or pretty much anything else to make it look at least somewhat different.

I have looked through the options and did a quick search on these forums here and didn't find anything which addressed this specifically.

More than just the skin will need changing though for full colorblindness accessibility... There are other parts of the UI that hardcode red and green to mean certain things, like the files list's progress bars, or the speed tab's lines. Additionally, even if red/green colorblindness were solved by changing colors all over the place, there's no guarantee that we'll not have stepped on another colorblindness mine (for other colorblindnesses -- yes, even if they're less prevalent). Not really a justification to reject your reasonable request, but it's still something that would need consideration.

In the mean time, maybe you can check the skins page to see if there's one that suits your needs.
