Jeroi Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 Certain situations, where I play fullscreen games with under my native resolution happens this:- Back to windows, all dektop itmens are arranged fron left corner to down, some porgrams run in seond monitor, not default monitor. uTorrent is one of these.Problem is when second monitor is my LCD TV at next room, I cannot control TV view from my work room; I need to get my wireless keyboard and mouse to living room to do so.Shame is that unlike KUBUNTU gives you ability to drag programs from another screens to this screen, without watching in what screen the program is, windows dosent let you have this ability. To fix this bug happening for uTorrent in Windows, I would suggest checking Default Windows Screen, when opening uTorrent from tray. Also suggesting addition to settings: Open utorrent in Default monitor/screen, or Nth monitor/screen.Hopefully this will be fixed soon, as this bug causes headaches to me a lot.
Firon Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 Well, you can actually move it back to this monitor. Right click on the taskbar entry for utorrent, click Move and use the arrow keys to move it back.
Jeroi Posted October 15, 2009 Author Report Posted October 15, 2009 But that do not fix this bug. Only few spesifg programs have this bug, if they dont check default monitor. I guess this is not hard fix, one check to code, and voila. I would add patch if I knew c++, but sorry delphi and java only.EDit;Also move is not available if program is fullscreen. uTorrent is always fullscreen for me as I have hundreds of my own torrents...EDIT2:Well you can remove fullscreen witth tray and then use move. But still this bug is bit stupid one.
humaxDVB Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 i solve this problem with ultramon (external program). it works nice. until a fix will come for the uTorrent.
