Tracker Issue

Hey,

I'm having trouble downloading any torrents. I've tried downloading torrents with thousands of seeders, to no avail. I've also tried downloading from OpenOffice, again to no avail. I've tried generating a random port number, but that didn't help, either.

uTorrent tells me that "no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it". This was not always the case; I used uTorrent with no issues for several months, but this has been a problem for a couple of weeks now and does not seem to be going away.

What happens on an openoffice torrent?

What changed when this stopped working?

Have you tried with peerguardian uninstalled?

OpenOffice torrent yielded the same results - "target machine actively refused [the connection]"

I turned off PeerGuardian in MSConfig and rebooted, but this didn't seem to help. Thanks for the suggestions so far, guys - any other thoughts?

Dread, I don't understand exactly what you mean. Nothing else on my computer seems to be having problems, or no other problems arose at the same time, to clarify.

Dread, not that I can remember specifically. I can't definitively say no, though.

Also, I have ran Kaspersky Antivirus in safe mode, and it didn't detect anything, so it doesn't seem to be any kind of a virus...
