NoOneButMe
Maybe as an option + click item, but I don't think this would fit in as its own button.
Tru_valerich
But why? now the only way to stop downloading(or uploading) is to quit program. (or yes, u can select all files and then press stop)and its not too comfortable to switch to 5 kb/s on upload and download. this buttons could be an options in 'customize toolbar'.actually how you can stop or resume downloading/uploading now? NoOneButMe
It wouldn't fit as its own button, because it is a modified version of a button that already exists. The option button is a modifier key. Its modifying an existing action to do something new. It fits in with OS X's HIG.
mefi
I think that's a stupid Transmission feature. If you ever want to stop all traffic, quit uTorrent or select "All" and then press cmd+A -> Stop. And why would you want to stop all torrenttraffic? OrBiTaL
Start/stop all would be redundant as already said (cmd+a, start/stop), but redundancy is a good thing in user interface. What I really miss are the icons "Move Up/down in queue" at the toolbar. Having to right-click step by step is painful.
Firon
Does the Ctrl+Alt+Arrow hotkey not work on mac?

JazJon
I just switched from Vuze to uTorrent. The only thing I miss so far is the Stop and Start all buttons. You see I run torrent via web page gui/remote only, since uTorrent is running on a server. I don't really have an easy option to close uTorrent. It would be nicer to just start/stop as needed. (so the Web GUI remains available. For now I'm selecting all by holding down shift, clicking first/last torrent, right click, stop. It's not the end of the world, but the one button was nice in Vuze. Modbus
Why not put them on the menu when you left click on the Utorrent icon?
